Orbi RBKE963B Setup (Connections)

Majorly, Orbi router and satellites connects without any wires or cables, but it can connect with Ethernet cable if wanted. We will share both the connection methods;

But at first, you have to connect the router to the modem with the help of the LAN cable. The cable ends will be inserted in the router WAN port and modem LAN port.

SYNC Method

1. Turn on the router and satellites first.
2. Then find the Sync button on the router first and press it once.
3. Within two minutes, you must press Sync button on the satellites.
4. The devices will connect with each other automatically.

ETHERNET Method

If you want to connect only one satellites to the router;

1. Connect Ethernet cable to the router LAN port.
2. Connect other one to the satellites Ethernet port.
3. Then, turn on the devices to start the network.

Connect two satellites to the router:

1. Insert the two cables to the router LAN ports.
2. One cable end connects to the satellite 1.
3. Other cable will connect to satellites 2.
4. Then, turn all devices to start the network.

If you want to connect one switch and two satellites to the router:

1. Connect Ethernet cable to router (one end) and switch (second end).
2. Connect another cable to satellite 1 (one end) and switch (second end).
3. Connect another cable to satellite 2 (one end) and switch (second end).
4. Then, turn all devices to start the network.

There are two ways to log in to the Orbi interface which are via Orbi app and orbilogin GUI.

Orbi App

1. Download the Orbi app in your mobile device from the Play Store or App store.
2. Open the app and access it through the admin username and password given on the label.

3. By typing and Login in to the app, you can adjust all the settings of the Orbi mesh system.

Orblogin GUI

1. Connect the computer to the Orbi network via LAN cable or SSID.
2. Open browser and search URL Orbilogin.com or Orbilogin.net or you can use the IP 192.168.1.1.
3. Screen will open the login page, just enter admin credentials and access the interface window.
4. You will get to the interface dashboard, where you can easily adjust or configure the settings.
