Disconnect WiFi link with AT&T

• Connect a computer to the AT&T U-Verse through the LAN cable.
• Open Updated web browser in the computer and search IP 192.168.1.254.
• You will reach to the AT&T interface login page, here just enter the login credentials.
• Access the interface and go to the Wireless settings> LAN tab> and Disable it.

After that you have to connect your new Orbi router physically to the AT&T and activate its AP mode.

Connect Router to Gateway

At first, you have to link your Orbi router WAN port to the ISP gateway port with the help of the Ethernet cable. Then, turn on the router by plugging its power cord to the wall socket.

After starting the router, you have to access the interface and configure it first and then activate its AP (access point) mode.

• Connect the computer to the router with the help of LAN cable.
• Then, open web browser and search URL orbilogin.net or IP address 192.168.1.1.
• Login page will load up on the browser; just enter the login credentials (username and password) here.
• You will find the username and password in the Orbi user manual. Enter the details and log in to the interface.
• You have to configure the router first by manage the settings and networks. Then, activate AP mode.

Activate AP Mode in Orbi

• After accessing the interface and configure the router, go to the Advanced Settings.
• Here, you have to select the route or AP mode settings. Select AP mode radio.
• In it, you have to adjust the IP address setting. You can assign IP or choose automatic selection.
• Save the settings by clicking APPLY button given at the bottom of computer screen.

Add Satellite Nodes to Orbi

• To start to connect Orbi satellite to router, you have to place them to your desired location in house.
• Then turn them on and press the sync button on the Orbi router.
• Now, hit the sync button on the satellite nodes to connect the Orbi mesh system without using any wire.

After physical link, you have to configure them by accessing the interface though the IP address 192.168.1.1 or URL orbilogin.net.
