Orbi RBR50 Setup

There is a simple setup process which you can do with the help of the Ethernet cable.

• Place the router near to the home cable modem.
• Connect the Ethernet cable to the modem LAN port.
• Connect the other end of cable to the router WAN (Yellow) port.
• Now, you can turn on the modem and router by inserting the power cord to the wall sockets.

Orbi RBR50 Router Login

Via Orbi App

• Connect your phone to the router network; you can do it by finding and Connect with the Orbi SSID.
• You have to download Orbi app in your mobile phone using the Play Store or App Store, or you can scan the code here.

Via Orbilogin.net

• You just have to connect your computer to the router SSID network, or you can connect it via LAN cable.
• Find and open any updated web browser, and enter the URL orbilogin.net.
• Search it by pressing the Enter button and you will reach to the login page of the interface.
• Here, just type in the admin credentials given on label or in user manual.
• After that you will get access to the interface page and you can configure the router easily.

Via 192.168.1.1

• Find and open any updated web browser, and enter the IP address 192.168.1.1.
• Search it by pressing the Enter button and you will reach to the login page of the interface.
• Here, just type in the admin credentials given on label or in user manual.

You will get access to the interface page and you can configure the Orbi RBR50 router device. After the configuration process, you can easily Connect Orbi Satellite (if you have).

Firmware Update and Passwords

Firmware Update

Open the Orbi app> log in to it> go into Settings> open Update tab> touch on the UPDATE button.

WiFi Password Change

Open the Orbi app> Go in to the Settings> tap on Wireless Networks> enter new Password> and Save the changes.

Troubleshooting Tips and Solutions

• Don’t use damaged Ethernet cable.
• Never use LAN port of the router to connect cable.
• Use the update browser to access the interface (if you are using computer)
• Reboot the Orbi router if you can’t connect with the Orbi network.
• Reset the Orbi router if the RBR50 router is not working.

To reset the router, you have to use a sharp object to press and hold the router RESET button and release it after 5-10 seconds.
