Orbi 650 Series AX3000 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System Setup Guide

You have to connect the Orbi router to the modem via Ethernet cable, have a look how to do it;

1. Place the Orbi router near to the modem.
2. Connect the cable to the router WAN port (Yellow one).
3. Insert the other end to modem LAN port and turn all the devices on.

If you want to sync satellites as well, then power them on > press Sync button on the router and satellites.

1. Download the Orbi app from the Play Store or App Store in your mobile phone.

If you don’t have any MyNETGEAR account then create one by registering your Orbi device.

3. You will see the Enable Camera and Scan option, just tap on it and scan the QR code given on router base.
4. After that, user will be prompted to the setup page, where app will instruct you how to connect Orbi router to mode via Ethernet cable.
5. Skip it if you have done it already, and tap Continue.

WiFi Password Change

Enter new WiFi password, which you will use to connect with the Orbi network. To save, just click on the APPLY button.

WiFi SSID Change

Enter new SSID username, which will be assigned to the Orbi network (to connect, you just have to select it and fill the password). To save, tap on the APPLY button.

Change Default Admin Password

You can also adjust the settings through the GUI browser. But for that you need admin password. Yes you can change it, when you are setting up your device from the app. Just enter new admin password and save it by taping APPLY button.

Setup Orbi 650 Mesh via Browser

You have to connect the Orbi router to the modem with the Ethernet cable and turn on the system.

1. Now, connect the computer to the Orbi network via LAN cable or SSID details.
2. Go in to the web browser of computer (updated one), type the URL orbilogin.com or Orbilogin.net or IP address 192.168.1.1.
3. Enter to search and you will see login page on the computer screen. Here, you have to enter the admin username and password.
4. The admin credentials are given on the label of the device or in the user manual of it, just type it in.
5. You will get to the Orbilogin interface dashboard, where you can adjust the settings of the Orbi mesh system.
