The router will connect to the modem with the help of the Ethernet cable and Satellites connects with router wirelessly. Let’s connect Orbi router to the modem first and then start connecting other nodes;

• You have use the Ethernet cable for the connection.
• Insert one end to the router WAN port.
• Connect other end to the modem LAN port.
• Now, turn on the router and modem by providing them power.

After router to modem connection, establish satellites network;

• Plug the satellites power adapter on your desired locations wall socket in your house.
• Then, press the Sync button on the router and satellites to connect both the devices.

• Download the Netgear Orbi App from Play Store or App Store.

• Open the app and log in to it with the help of the Emal ID and password.
• If you don’t have any credentials, then you have to Sign Up and create an account.
• Enter your Name, Email address, password, and then confirm password. Now, you can access the app and complete the setup.

• Open an updated web browser and enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 or orbilogin.com or orbilogin.net in the address bar.
• By pressing the Enter button, you will get to the Orbi login admin page, where you have to enter the username and password.
• You will the credentials on the device label or user manual just enter them and access the interface.

Orbi Reboot and Reset Process

Reboot

You can restart the Orbi device by using two different methods;

• Disconnect the power of Orbi and reconnect with it.
• Find and press the power button twice.

Reset

To reset the device, you have to find the Orbi RESET button and long press with the help of a pin or sharp object. By doing so, you have to setup the Orbi RBR860 router again, because reset will delete all the data from the router.
