1. Replace the LAN Cable
90% of users fail to access the Netgear Orbi login page because they do not connect the router and modem using a non-damaged Ethernet cable. May be you are getting the no internet connection problem due to this reason. Therefore, we recommend you make use of a non-damaged cable to connect the router and modem. Just ensure that you are not creating a loose connection.
Note: The Ethernet cable you have used should be connected to the correct ports only. You must not connect the cable to other LAN ports of the Orbi router in the case of a router-modem connection.
2. Restart the Router
Sometimes, it is just a glitch that causes the Orbi router not connecting to internet problem. Glitches are unpredictable, but they do have the easiest fix! All you should do is, restart your router. But, before you do that, it is suggested that you disconnect all the devices connected to the Orbi WiFi. Once done, switch off the Orbi router and wait for 2-5 minutes. 1. Reduce the Gap
Yes, we agree that the router and satellite do not need to see each other in the Orbi mesh system for working efficiently. But, they should be present in the range at least. If your satellites are located very far from the router, then you cannot expect them to connect to the internet. Thus, keep them in areas where WiFi signals of your router can reach. You are not suggested to place satellites very close however. After performing the required workaround, see the Orbi not connecting to internet issue bids adieu.
2. Change the Satellite’s Location
There may be a case that your Orbi satellite is placed in a room where it is experiencing WiFi signal interference at its maximum. Thus, you need to check the satellite’s surroundings. Do you find any device that emits electromagnetic frequencies or an object that is carrying a large amount of water? If yes, then you should immediately relocate the satellite. Apart from such objects or devices, you must make sure that your satellite is away from reflexive surfaces and metal objects. If you do not follow this thumb rule, you cannot connect Orbi satellite to internet.
3. Reboot the Satellite
Just as you reboot the router in case it does not get connected to the internet, you are suggested to reboot the satellite. After all, technical glitches can impact the performance of any networking device. Therefore, you should power down the satellite and unplug it from its respective power source. Once done, wait for a few minutes. Lastly, switch on the satellite. You should perform a power cycle of the entire mesh network in case the problem does not get resolved.

- Ensure that your Orbi unit is plugged in and is getting a stable power supply.
- After that, disconnect all the connected devices.
- Find the Reset button on the Orbi unit and press it carefully.
- Holding the button for 7 seconds will initiate the reset process.
- Let the Orbi unit reboot.
